When I can't find room to sit down, I organize into piles, lol.

Nah...If they did, I wouldn't pay any attention! Only my DH and quilt buddy ever see it. It's hidden away upstairs with the door closed, to keep the cats out!
Besides, after watching Peter Walsh last night, I changed my mind about my sewing room being messy! |

I don't mind if it's family seeing it- they know I keep a clean house. But when for some reason a person not well aquainted sees my sewing area, I don't want to explain & yet I always feel I must. It makes no sense to put away EVERY LITTLE THING just to get it back out again-plus that's a time waster. So it is what it is-my house- ya don't like it, ya know where the door is.The rest of my house is cleaned daily.

May her next gasp be at the beauty of one of your quilts that you give to someone other than her.......

My room looks like a bomb went off in there. I clean up between projects, but right now I've got a couple going on plus I'm slowly trying to get fabric on boards for better organization and that stuff if all in the floor too. Its quite a mess.

A tidy house is a sign of a boring person! You must be quite a fun person to be around! Wanna meet for lunch!

Your DH was probably very proud of what you do and wanted to show it off.
I wish I can just get my room clean enough to find what I am looking for |
My quilt room is very soothing and relaxing. Even when my husband gives a tour, everybody is very impressed, even those who do not quilt. They like my 'space'. Never is it really a mess. He's proud of it, and I am.
