I have the SewEzi table and LLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEE it. It is lightweight and portable. I can also go full speed on my sewing machine and the table won't wobble or move about. It is more expensive than some, but in my opinion it is worth it.

Check out the Gidget 1 at Walmart. It's about 20"x40" and VERY sturdy. I believe the cost is $114 with free shipping.

Having your machine at the correct height will save your shoulder stress! Makes a huge difference. Go for it!

I have one of these tables. I bought mine 33 years ago. Still have it. Sure would like the newer model.

I love the table. I have a real sewing table, but use this one to set up in my livingroom when my parrot is lonely! I took several classes at the Manchester, NH show last summer and I was surprised, a number of women brought the tables to class....and were a lot more comfortable than the rest of us.
Buy one...you won't be sorry! You do have to buy an inset for the machine you use for that table. That takes a few weeks to come, but it is very worth it. Also get the little extension....it goes on the right side. It is not very big, and holds extra thread, scissors, etc. And, it folds into the table when you put the table away.
I fold mine up when my project is done and store it in my sewing room until I need it again. Then it is out of the way.

It looks very great and I totally agree having a machine on the kitchen table is a hassle. It does look pricey, but it looks nice & portable if you need to take it to retreats.

I never really go anywhere :) and bought 3 wooden singer tables ($5 & $20). I like them because they look like a beautiful side tables. They have a top that folds out for added space when sewing and they have a front notion drawer for scissors, bobbins etc. They are in various places in the house (basement, living room, and den). Two have sewing machines hidden in them and nobody can tell it is a sewing table :)- and the one which I use the most has my machine sitting on top in my basement.

For the price you can't go wrong...and even if your machine doesn't have a true fit, I used a thin glass cutting board to cover the hole and place my computerized machine on top.

They are great for small spaces if you are looking for a less expensive alternative.

And I like it when my kids claim the basement - I can still unhide a machine in the living room in the evening and keep on sewing...
