Thank you, it is more symbolic to him than to anyone looking at it. The colors are from his Fraternity, the 20 friendship stars symbolize the pledges/laws of that Fraternity. The North Carolina stars are because that is HOME, the blues in the stars symbolize the air force.

It was great seeing a grown man who is always joking around, being a wise guy, just be silent and then cry...

on the backing was a purple batik that was wild...all watery looking...it looked like a field of Irises...his wife is named Iris!

it was great last summer....and then...one too many road trips...and one too many jobs...and one too many craft shows to do....

This time I am clearing it out...and it is staying out!
