Have to share/ Great Customer Service
Received some jelly rolls that were not the right size. Nancy's Notions contacted the Hoffman company and they are not only replacing them but sending my border (2 yds) and backing fabric (8.25 yards) of my choice, to me as well!!! I can't believe in this day and age that I found someone who went beyond the norm to keep a customer.
Wonderful. Made my day...week. |
It IS good to know that there are companies out there who care about their name and reputation...and doing the "right thing".

I have learned to speak up. I too used to let things be. Then I looked at how much I spent/ lost on "let things be". Not anymore. You just end up paying double.

Nancy's Notions is a great place to do business with......a few yrs. ago, I ordered one thing but received somebody else's order, and they received mine. When I called Nancy's Notions, they told me to keep the wrong item for free, and then shipped out the correct item that same day!:thumbup::D

This is so nice to hear - first that you took the time to let them know there was a problem and second that they responded so positively. I have watched Sewing with Nancy for years and have ordered a few things and learned a lot. I'm glad to know they take good customer service so seriously.

I have always received great customer service from Nancy's Notions. Recently I ordered and received a kit. A few days later I received the pattern in the mail with a letter that some of the kits did not have the directions included with the kit and they were making sure everyone who ordered the kit had the patterns. They have always been very helpfut!!!

That is great...Connecting Threads is like that also...It keeps a customer coming back...Good business practice...Thanks for sharing. I will have to shop at Nancy's Notions...

I have ordered a lot of stuff from Nancy's Notions and have been very satisfied each time but once - the order came missing an item. When I contacted them, they sent it at no charge!
I definitely keep them on my list of companies to order from! |
I've been using Nancy's Notions for years and have always received great customer service! As a result, they are one of my favorite "go to" stores when I need something. And there's always someone to talk to on the phone if you have a problem.

Customer service is very important today, so many places you can buy things, but good service makes a big difference. Connecting Threads and Nancy's Notions are great.

Great Customer Service
Although Nancy's Notions sent my problem to Hoffman, it was Hoffman that sent replacement jelly rolls, border fabric and backing 8.25 yards for "my Trouble"? Just wanted to make this clear. Good service from both, but Hoffman sent me all of the fabric.

I had thought that it would be Hoffman making the replacement. When I was quilting professional, I would purchase from them. They always stand behind their product. I still think that Hoffman fabrics are the best, sort of the Cadillac of fabrics !! :)

Wow & here I was excited when I ordered some Avenger comic fabric but received Superman fabric and Fabric.com had UPS come to my house to pick up the wrong fabric. The sent out the correct fabric in 2 days. But my ordeal didn't gain me anything extra but the corrected order. Still happy though!

I recently rec''d the wrong fabric from c.t. And they were very quick to replace it. They, too, told me to keep the wrong fabric. They are also a great company to deal with.

Fabric.com also replaced a yardage cut wrong for me.

Several years ago, my Floor Ottlite bulb, which I had purchased from N's Notions, burned out after just a few months. I contacted them, and they immediately sent me TWO replacement bulbs! Absolutely amazing!

Great service.
I bought precuts cuts from Joann's and they were all wrong. I emailed them about it to ask what I should do since they were clearanced and got a too bad so sad email back. A week or so later I went back to Joann's and spoke to the manager and she was so upset at what happened and told me the next time I'm by they way to bring them all back ironed cut the whole shebang and she gave me a gift card then which I used for yardage in the same colors. The service I get at that store is the only reason I still buy my Kona from there. My local Joann's has amazing employees who know me and my daughter by name and all go out of their way to give great service. If I need a Joann's product I only go through my local store and will not deal with their online services. |
