I have taken out a WIP, and it was supposed to be a Rail Fence. However, I had started making blocks out of six different colors -- three colors in one block and three in the other. Now I don't know how I had planned to put them together.
Do you have any answers for this quilter question? |
Could it have been to make a zig zag pattern?
I have seen quite a few made with that combination of blocks :D:D:D |
I don't know. I'm on vacation, and I brought the fabric and completed blocks with me. Now I don't know what I meant to do with them.

Mary Ellen Hopkins used more than three colors in her rail fence quilts.
Just play with the blocks - see if something looks good and/or appeals to you - if it does, so them together. It's okay if something different manifests while working with the pieces. :) |
Zig Zag would work...... or figure your on vacation from all thats normal, and just enjoy the time away from home!!
(I know can't believe just told someone not to quilt )   |
I've never done a zig zag patttern before.

I don't know, but don't do what I did. See this blog here.
