I have made that mistake a time or two myself, I get so involved in my quilting that I sometimes don't pay attention, but it could have been much worse. Can't wait to see the front of the quilt.

Hey, way to go!

There is nothing more frustrating then having only yourself to blame.

I know that this is frustrating, but as they say, "If you think that you will laugh at it in twenty years, then you might as well start now!"

That is not as bad as a flipped-under piece of the quilt. Happy ripping.

Oh buggers! So sorry that happened to you!

I haven't made that particular mistake yet, but I'm sure that one day I will.:D

Thank you for your honesty! Though I've been quilting over 30 years, too, I always joke that I should buy seam rippers by the gross!

Had to laugh because my quilts are always picking stuff up off the table or knocking stuff off of it. I have to really clear the space when I'm quilting. I FMQ and straight line quilt, and turn the quilts a lot. They will just sweep up everything with them. ;)

Ive done worse by catching part of the quilt in stitching.

Thank goodness you are human and willing to share your mistakes so the rest of us don't feel like we are the only one in the world that makes an error...... lol........ so glad I belong to group.

I just finished the last of two baby quilts for preemie twin girls. I did the Missouri Star with borders and flanged binding. I was taking the picture and much to my horror two of the points on the star are upside down. Quilting and everything done. There is no way I can fix this without tearing the whole blanket apart and the quilting out. It happens to be in the center of the quilt. A non quilter does not see the mistake but quilters do. So I just told their mother about the error and said it is just a reminder of how easy mistakes are made. Glad yours was easy to fix.
