I clean everything off my sewing cabinet before I start to quilt, did this once. Never did it again.

No problem with that quilt it is special and will have many, many hugs and warm feelings.

Just showed my DH your post. He chuckled (he is a new quilter - just finished his first flannel quilt) and said "just stitch on a whole bunch of other enders and tell everyone you planned it that way. I'm gonna check his work more carefully from now on :o)

A friend of mine who quilts for folks who write books did this wonderful thread painted quilt for a show. She was working late the night before she had to turn an ender jumped onto the back of the quilt -- so she decided to add a couple more and turned the quilt in. She called it back art.
