I think I would do SID as it seems to go with the echo quilting you are doing on the sides.....Nice quilt.....should be well used and loved!

I was thinking a modified cross hatch; going only thru the rows with the green blocks and doing two lines of stitching thru each row. The effect would be like a tic-tac-toe grid inside the green blocks and only two rows of stitching in the white print blocks between. You could use a decorative stitch or not as you choose.
