Only $1000 worth of fabric...you will have to hurry to catch up with some of us. Glad to hear that you have caught the 'quilting' bug.

Hello Michael...
You are certainly not alone. I too am a fabricaholic. Even with all that I have, I want more. I see something on ebay, and buy it. I go to a yard/garage sale and look for fabric... and of course buy it. I get coupons for Joann Fabrics, go there... and you know what happens!!!

I'm comforted that wonderful projects result from this addiction!!!

I am in the sme boat lol I think I like buying the fabrics and the thrill in finding matching fabrics that are on clearance!!!

Funny - while reading this I have "Hoarders - Buried Alive" on the tv!!! This is not a joke - for real.

It is highly stressed on the show for you to get rid of things (or in your case fabric) that is more than you need right now!!! My suggestion - put it on the classifieds and let the rest of us hoarders buy it. (I too am a hoarder but am not ready to participate in the show) Maybe next year

Ifr you look at my posts you will see that I had a tremendous amount of sales posted last year. If you look further you can see where I had been inspired by Deb to clean up my mess - I am almost there!! Hope to post pics by Monday - but you will also see that I still have too much. Maybe you can be an inspiration to me!!! Keep me posted as to what you do!!! thanks cheryl

LOL! HUSH! How can I NOT visit them on a cross country tour....I'll just LOOK....I SWEAR![/quote]

No need to make any rash promises - it's always a bummer when you have to break a promise. You'll be on vacation.... ENJOY IT!

Take some fabric along with you. You may need it to trade for food, after you've spent all your money on gasoline. Yesterday I put $54.19 worth of gas in my tank, and that was only for 3/4 a tank! Heaven help us!

You sure beat me, but I am not a hoarder, I am a fabric collector..

If you have a collection, you have to add to it.
If you have a collection, you have no obligation to use it.
If you do use it, you MUST replace it.

I had to laugh. I found kits I couldn't remember buying and some I asked myself "Why???" Personally, I think we buy because we like the color or design or maybe it has something to do with our childhood, who knows?? But I am like you, enough already, use what I have or else I will never be able to get anything made-I'm too busy going to the fabric store to buy more!!

Welcome to the club Michael Now you have to start on your kits

Sounds like you need to start the 12 step program. If you park in my driveway, it's 12 steps to my front door. LOL

BTW, I was born in Cedar Rapids and live on a farm near New Liberty until I was a teenager.
