I also think piano keys would be perfect but I think there should be a touch of red somewhere either in you border or the binding. It will bring out the red centers of you blocks.

I have no suggestion, but your quilt is lovely. Show us what you decide.

They said they like the blue, so I would go with 2 borders of 2 blues. A smaller inner border and a larger outer border. Because your logs change directions, this would be a nice frame to the cream colors. I personally would like to add either a 1" inner red or even a piping of red before the 2 blues. This is a very striking quilt - nice job.
