Help! Colorado Log Cabin

Colorado Log Cabin is a regular Log Cabin except that in the last (outer) set of four logs, you put a 45 degree diamond in each corner. When you put the blocks together, you have log cabins with 8 point stars in the corners. It is a beautiful quilt!

Problem is, my directions, in a book by Judy Martin, were written for template cutting, not rotary cutting. They are somewhere around 2 13/16" for the square, and odd lengths and widths for the rest of the logs.

I am a pretty experienced "adapter" and "adjuster" and "resizer" but there are too many dimensions in this one, all of which depend of the others to fit exactly.

Does anybody have this pattern for rotary cutting so you can tell me how/where to get it? Thanks so much!!!!

That's a gorgeous pattern - I'd love to make one for my friend in Colorado. But no, I MUST get on with the UFOs first!
