Black..........but you can get one at a much better price!
That white is way too much! Besides my repairman says the black are better as the white were made later and it a dangnabit machinery to work on? Don't know why as i thought it was made just like the black one. Your brother is a sweetheart! |
Wow, tough choice and I can't help. Here are my thoughts though...
My "peeps" (read resources" have always said the white machine itself is better made than the black although the case itself is of poorer quality. The white ones almost always go for a higher price while the black ones are still occasionally found for a song. If you get the white one you may still pick up a cheap black one later on down the road. If you get the black one, not so likely you'll get a cheap white one later on. The black one is a Centennial model and hence generally goes for a little more and it is in somewhat better shape than the white one. Wish my brother would give me a tan FW. He won't even give me the time of day so that is not likely to happen though. |
I vote for the black one.
Black for sure!
I think the white one is prettier BUT it doesn't show any attachments at all. The black one is much more worth the money to me. It is from a one owner family and she sells at 100% satisfaction. I'd go with the black one. Good luck.

I like the white but is it worth the extra money? I don't know. I would love to have either.
The black one.
I have the black one and I adore her, so my vote is for black!
I like them both, but I have the black one and it sews like a charm. Don't know much about the white machine except that it's so cotton pickin cute.
I'd get the black featherweight.
