you could try free arm meandering on all the white and on all the sashing use a larger leaf and flower accent. keep the appliques free of quilting and the designs will pop.

I think you may have opened a can of worms! You will have many many requests for the pattern. It is just adorable. I love owls. Would you put me on your list of those that would like the pattern?

gmcsewer 03-05-2010 06:41 AM

Your Lone Star is beautiful. By using the different width of strips, it gives such a sparkle. I never have tried a star, but might now that I see how this glitters.

Cookie64 03-05-2010 07:02 AM

Maybe you can scan the pattern and e-mail it to all of us.

sewmom 03-06-2010 10:03 AM

If you are giving out your pattern, I would also like a copy. I would only use it for gift items or personal use, not for salE items. They are truly wonderful. Thanx

quiltykitty 03-06-2010 01:28 PM

Tracy, the owl quilt is cute. I just looked at your blog and wonder about the Loy Lake Quilt. Is it connected in some way with the lake and street by the same name in Grayson County?

I don't think I have ever seen such a long project list as you have on your blog for 2010! When do you find time to eat and sleep, much less be a mother?
