Why not some sort of fall quilt pattern. It would make a very nice quilt for a man also. If you check my quilter2theend avatar, it is done in browns, beiges, orange and whites. I like ScrappyAZ's idea too. There are many patterns you could choose from, let us know what you decide to do. If you go to www.allpeoplequilt.com there is a project called Maple Leaf Log Cabins with instructions you can print out.

These are all wonderful ideas but the Pinwheels and Patches is just breathtaking!

Oh, that is a pretty way to use those up. Love that quilt! :)

Fat cat patterns has a BOM that just started for owls. It uses lots of brown & other solids. I've started it but have electrified the colors for my GD who is 4 & just loves owls! Hopefully that will still be the case when this quilt is finished. :D

Add golds and oranges to make fall quilts.

The Patches and and Pinwheels is gorgeous.. You can also use the browns/beiges with civil war patterns and make a gorgeous kaleidoscope with them. The Farmer's wife quilt uses a lot of browns too,; the sashing is brown. Brown with Navy blue, beige, gray, with a sprinkle of red or orange is beautiful too. I think you can have fun with this if you mix a stir.

Projest Linus is always looking for boys quilts in "masculine" colors. You know, male colors are always so limited.

Love your brown snowball quilt!
