I like the first one. Lovely fabrics

Obviously they both work. About half and half preferences. So it doesn't really matter. Do which ever one floats your boat! When it is finished no one but you will know about the other way. And both are lovely, so the recipient with be very happy with whatever you do.

I like the 2nd one. I like the busy pattern of it...

I generally sew to please my hubby, but I really like the layout in the second one!

first one looks like it flows better. second one seams choppy.. :thumbup:

They are both gorgeous. The first shows off the star better, but the patches on point (second) would be my choice.
