Both are very pretty; my vote is for the second picture. Usually I'd go with the cat's choice but in this case I'll stand on my own.

Pam 06-03-2010 07:18 PM

#1. the white diagonal lines run right across the quilt, I like the movement it produces. Plus, Ms. Fuzzy Butt likes it, too. He messed up the 2nd one!

cashmommy11 06-03-2010 07:48 PM

number two here love it

Prism99 06-03-2010 08:03 PM

I like the 1st one the best. The white stars give it movement while the pink blocks give it calmness. Just the right balance between the two.

Hmmm.... After looking at them again, I think the 2nd one has just the right balance. The 1st one is more static; the 2nd one is more dynamic.

Guess this isn't much help to you!

p.s. I guess if I were in a nursing home I would prefer the more dynamic setting over calmness.

quiltluvr 06-03-2010 11:07 PM

I really can't decide, but I feel I'm leaning a wee bit more toward #2---if it wasn't totally destroyed by the king of the hill there.

MamaBear61 06-04-2010 02:45 AM

I like #1

SSTeacher 06-04-2010 02:50 AM

Dear Sahm4605: I like them both as well and it seems like the answers are not going to help too much in your decision since it is probably an even score for #1 and #2. Looks like kitty is an accomplished organizer of your pattern. :D

sewcrafty 06-04-2010 03:12 AM

#2 for me. Both are very nice, I can understand how hard its going to be to make the decision.

fktsewing 06-04-2010 03:20 AM

I like the first one the best---second one looks too busy.

Quilt4u 06-04-2010 03:26 AM

I like the second one .

QuiltingGrannie 06-04-2010 03:28 AM

I like the first one. It reminds me of flowers growing on lattice work. I grew up with my Mom having a climbing rose bush that climbed up white lattice work that my Dad had built. Fond memories. I may have to 'steal' your pattern idea. for a wall hanging! Love it!

ginnie6 06-04-2010 03:30 AM

2nd one!

sueisallaboutquilts 06-04-2010 03:48 AM

Look at the cat!! So cute- they are all alike!! FABRIC/QUILT MAGNETS.
Hmmm..... what was the ????
I vote for the cat :D:D:D:D

Karen's Kreations 06-04-2010 03:50 AM

Second one gets my vote.

sueisallaboutquilts 06-04-2010 03:51 AM

Just looked at the second set of photos. I think you should let kitty finish rearranging them and stitch it up in THAT design :D:D

zactanls 06-04-2010 04:34 AM

I like the 1st one - the cat adds to it

on the first page there are two photos and i can't decide which way to stitch the quilt together. I already have a blue one that is like the first. I just can't decide. hopefully you guys will be able to help me decide. the Pattern is called Hunters Star. a few people have done this one on the board before me.

stitchinwitch 06-04-2010 04:45 AM

Both are great, but my preferance lies with the second

P-BurgKay 06-04-2010 04:58 AM

2nd one for sure

Tinabodina 06-04-2010 05:03 AM

I vote for the first one.

Zoe's mom 06-04-2010 05:13 AM

I like the first one too... Go with your hubby.. good for the family relationship..

quiltlin 06-04-2010 05:18 AM

I like the one with the cat on it (the first one) as it looks more like a garden trellis with flowers growing on it.

mrspete 06-04-2010 05:20 AM

Both are so neat and pretty. It's hard for me to have a preference. Love the colors.

Blessings,
Ruth

mms61371 06-04-2010 05:36 AM

I vote for the 2nd one. And remember everything is better with a little cat hair!

brendadawg 06-04-2010 05:55 AM

#1

charcrfts 06-04-2010 06:03 AM

Kitty is pretty! I like the second design the pink blocks on point give the green & white a lovely lattice effect :)

Ditter43 06-04-2010 06:22 AM

I like the second one best. If there will be no border, the second design gives a more finished look. jmho :)

vbourck 06-04-2010 06:36 AM

I don't know how you will get anty help here as it seems the vote is pretty split- but I didn't count it up. My vote is #2, really like the on point blocks.

Sew and Sew 06-04-2010 06:36 AM

I love the second one too.

karendenice 06-04-2010 07:02 AM

#1

Glenda Kay 06-04-2010 07:29 AM

I like the second one.

quilter68 06-04-2010 07:34 AM

No. 2

better co-ordinated IMHO.

pianolady 06-04-2010 07:42 AM

They are both pretty, but I think the first one seems complete around the edge.

sewsweet2 06-04-2010 08:10 AM

I vote for the first layout. It reminds me more of a trellice with the flowers growing on it. Reminds me of my ggm.

blackbearbetty 06-04-2010 08:17 AM

The first one it looks like there is a border around it.

quiltermomo 06-04-2010 08:18 AM

Both are nice. However, the second one has a greater visual impact. It takes the ok to wow.

squinting my eyes, the second one is more pleasing. Yes I have a quilt kitty too.

greaterexp 06-04-2010 08:42 AM

I think the first one looks more balanced. It's going to be beautiful, no matter which one you choose!

mytwopals 06-04-2010 09:02 AM

I prefer the 2nd one. Looks more 3 dimensional.
