I like the second one. It immediately looked like the pink blocks were just "floating above" the others. Good effect and pretty quilt.....my favorite colors.
Wel you will have a lovely qult either way, but I think I would go with the second one.
I vote for the first one. But either one would be just fine and look great!
I like the second one that's on point. Really like your color choices.
second one.
I like the bottom one personally.
I like the first one. And the quilt inspector does too. :-D
I like the 2nd. I like blocks on point.,
I like the second one, at least until the third one appeared, and I guess the kitty's reorganization gets my vote, a crazy quilt!
I like both! And the colors are GREAT! BUT how abt you alternate the darker floral triangle print on the bottom of the block with the lighter triangle floral that you have on top. l/d, next block d/l and so on. Would give it a RANDOM look. Hope that makes sense. My 2 cents for what its worth. I am NOT a cat lover but yours can inspect @ my house any time.

Both are nice, but if I had to choose, I would pick the 2nd one.
I have a hunter's star block on my design wall. I am going to make a 4 seasons quilt from the hunter star. The 2nd one gets my vote with the blocks on point. When you count all your votes I'm sure you'll have to make the final decision as it seems to be equally divided. I do love STARS of any kind and your color choices are wonderful.
I like both
I like the second one
Second and then how about arranging the blocks so the dark triangle is facing the edge and replace the top triangle in the center block with the dark print and it would look like an hour glass and give a good focal point.
Dark facing out would also provide framing. I am imagining what this woul look like and believe it will work but one would never know until they are rearranged. |
Number 2 is my favorite. Love the colors.
the second you see more of the pattern, the first I see alot of pink, do what makes you happy

I vote with your husband and the quilt inspector! The first one.
First picture is my favorite ;)
I like the first one. Lovely fabrics
Obviously they both work. About half and half preferences. So it doesn't really matter. Do which ever one floats your boat! When it is finished no one but you will know about the other way. And both are lovely, so the recipient with be very happy with whatever you do.
I like the 2nd one. I like the busy pattern of it...
Wow...I love seeing the two different ways you can place those blocks. I vote for the 2nd one.
I generally sew to please my hubby, but I really like the layout in the second one!
Number 2 for sure! Now it is all up to you.
I like the first one. Looks like flowers on a trellis
first one looks like it flows better. second one seams choppy..
They are both gorgeous. The first shows off the star better, but the patches on point (second) would be my choice.
Second one.
The second one is a much more graceful design and doesn't look like the squares were just patched on as an after thought.
Gosh, as has become obvious, both layouts are beautiful. You might have to put numbers in a hat and draw, #1 or #2! lol
My favorite is the second one and sure, you could rearrange some of the triangles. There just isn't a bad way to go here. Love the colors and fabrics. She will be thrilled, no matter what. |
I like the first design!
Once it is all sewed together and quilted he will not know the difference. If he is like my husband, he will just tell you how much he likes it. Good luck!
I like the first one!
I like them both, but the first would be better if lapquilt, but I like the design better of the second one for a wall hanging. Oh, hey, just cut out more and make it reversible, one way on one side and the other way on the reverse!
I like the 2nd one.
I like the second one
