If you know what county the barn quilt was in then you could look up ______ county, ky cooperative extension office. Most county extension agencies have a website with the barn quilt owners name and the name of the block.

I'm glad I decided to read all the way through this topic before I posted. That was my thought also! Also there would be less matching of seams when sewing together.

Quiltastic, I don't know the block name, but wanted to tell you I love the quilt in your avitar. I was just in Ann Arbor last Wednesday at the quilt store. Is the barn in the Ann Arbor area?

Ok, here is a reference to the quilt block. It is called Crossroads. If you would like to read about it you can do so here:

I learn so much through these conversations! Now I know the name, I know where it is located on a barn. Now would someone please help ME figure out how to make one? Simple measurements and directions will do. Thank you in advance.

Go back to page 1 of this thread and look for MTS' post. She has graciously provided a detailed grid for us. Several others have offered to do the math for us.

Thank you, Ann, I KNEW I had seen it somewhere, but couldn't think where.
