Yeah, it's finished, all except for the hand quilting and the binding. Hope I get it done by Christmas. It's only taken more than ten years to get this far. Had the top done ten years ago, but just recently revived my interest. Now I can't wait to get it done and to start on a new one. Of course I'm not going to wait on getting started on the new one. Must have more than one goin. :-D

Do you have room enough between the major patterns to put a
small colorful seam? I had an old one given to me with a 1/4 inch binding hand sewed over all of the connecting seams, probably for much that same problem. It is a pretty quilt and I use it for children who visit, as I suspect it's not strong enough for daily use, but too much family history in it to get rid of it. |

I managed to get the seam to hold together. I didn't know that there was backing on the fusible web. :oops: Once I took it off. it stuck together. Hope ther aren't any more seams like that, but if there are I have the fusible web to repair them and won't panic so much because people on this QB have helped so much. :D

Thankyou for saying that. Ihave only put a small quilted wall hanging together before and haven't even put the binding on or had it out of storage in years. So I don't really know if that one is holding together. But you are the experienced one so I am going to hold you to that. :lol:
