I heartily agree! This book is worth its weight in gold. When I was a "newbie", it helped me to make a Log Cabin quilt that was "almost" square. Very close anyway! I whacked it square, so the borders would be straight, but you can hardly tell. LOVE her books!

I have also used Eleanor Burn's log cabin along time ago and the quilt came out very nice. I did not even know what I was doing so I guess I was blessed.

I have just finished #36 of 64 Log Cabin blocks and think I finally have the hang of it. After much head scratching and ripping out and many tips from you wonderful quilters, I have found that starching the fabric and squaring the block after each round is giving me nice square blocks:D I think that if it had not been for QB I would have thrown up my hands and said "This ain't any fun at all". But now I can't wait to get back to it tomorrow:thumbup:
