Oh My. I can't choose they are both lovely. Looks like you may have to buy another layer cake and make both. Flip a coin to choose which one.

I think No. 1 as it is less busy, but I do like both.

I like #1, it is a little more unusual that the squares on #2.
I find that more interesting.

I LOVE Giddy! I think the first layout works better. The second is just a little too busy in the sashing...
