This isnt really a demo but we just had a program on Quilting and the Internet. She talked about different apps available for your phone-like to figure yardage while you are in the store and to store pics of your fabric, to search for the lowest price.

Free pattern sites, bulletin boards, places to get coupons, URLs for several tutorials on various subjects. She highlighted several online stores like Fabricdepot and that one you can post the fabric you are looking for and people post back.

I consider myself pretty savvy on the net and I learned a few things.
