Help-Need a Name for This One!
 

Here is a quilt I am working on finishing up this weekend (more details and pics will be coming when it's done). I still need to bind and label it, and seem to be stumped as to a name for this one. All I've come up with so far is "Red Feathers" and I'm not particularly happy with that. It is for a young couple's new apartment, and the colors are his choice, so something slightly masculine would be nice.

So, I'd love some suggestions for names please!

Passion Vines or Burning Desires comes to mind. Dantes Inferno which I just read Inferno by Dan Brown. Flowing Flames or from the Frying pan into the Fire. Fire in the Night! Good Luck Luann

Lover's Passion. Its a beautiful quilt it reminds of a passion that two lovers have for each other on their wedding night. The white is the bride and the black is the groom. The red represent the love they have in their heart for each other.

I know this does not really make reference to the rich colors, but the first thing that popped into my mind is "Hello Beautiful!" It really is gorgeous!

Lovely quilt! How about "Hot Embers" since embers glow from red to black. Or Red Fire.

Red coral. I see sea shells and the beautiful fan coral from the Caribbean. Lovely.

How about Fiesta, It has a spanish flair.

I don't name my quilts, so I can't help. I do know it is beautiful.

When I make a quilt for a particular perso, I do not name the quilt. They might not like the name I choose. I put made for (persons name) and then do the rest of my label as I normally would.

"Floating Clouds" or " Volcanic clouds" came to mind- reminds me of a volcano with clouds floating above it. Beautiful quilt. I'm sure the couple will absolutely love this.

What Black and white and red all over? "NOT THE NEWSPAPER!" It's stunning!

With all that red and black which I love your combinations, what about Devil's Den? That's a DP9 right?

It looks like "Fire & Ice". I thought the white pieces looked like snow flakes, but the word snow would not work with all that red and black. It is quite regal looking also with the beautiful borders and the piecing could be the blocks of the 'Kings Castle". I hope that helped. baconbit

Love the name Wildfire. Your quilt is really lovely. I even like the quilting which accentuates the pattern very nicely rather than overpowering it.

I just want to say how tickled I am, you chose the name I suggested. Thank you! :o However, I feel a bit awkward, taking credit for it. Truth is, when I first saw the picture, my only conscious thought was, "WOW!" . . . and then those words just sorta slammed themselves into my head. I "saw" it, rather than thought it . . . so I think the real credit should go to the quilt, itself. :)
