How about a Quilt kit? Start her on her own adventure.

Kitchen towels with mini quilt blocks and rickrack sewn onto the towels. Then ruffle or flat piece of fabric on the end, Make sure you wash the towel first...Have fun!

In our Monday group, we all started making the Amish Star Pot holders, and what fun it is to make. Also the different color combinations and cut for the finished Pot Holder is a lot of fun. We all need new Pot Holders pretty regularly and they are really quite fun. I cut and fold all of mine in the evening while watching TV, then put it together in the morning. Only takes about 1 1/2 hours. You have lots of ideas going on here and I wish you luck with whatever you chose

How about some table runners, or a set of mug rugs? Maybe make her a carry bag?
