We all seem to be in accord about the mitered corners for No.2. I also like the first one but the quilt takes on a different feel with the stars in the corner.

Flip that strip so thin design is near center and you must miter those corners..will make a beautiful frame

I like No. one the most. But YOU have to choose---work, time and size desired all come into consideration. Whatever, they are all nice.

Number 1 would be my choice and two if it is mitered.

#3 - move stars to upper left and lower right and miter other corners. This will continue the asymetrical theme.
If you have already cut the border fabric and do not have enough to miter then go with stars in all corners. The border fabric begs to be mitered. |
I like them all but I think I prefer number 2 as it doesn't detract from the main design. I would also go with ghe mitred corners. It's going to be lovely when it's finished.
