I am not really sure if this is the right forum or not. I need help, does anyone out there have a pattern for a baby quilt that they would like to share. I have a friend expecting her first child and want to make a quilt. I will be doing a jungle them. I am looking for something simple as this is what she would like best.

Thanks for the help before hand :) :) :) :) :)

You could fussy cut the pictures of some of the jungle creatures, then block around them.
Maybe a 4 patch, 9 patch?
Yellow Brick Road is a nice pattern for a kids quilt.
You could also do a search online for baby quilt patterns.
Theres tons of free ones out there.

I keep coming back to the disappearing 9 patch . It's easy yet looks more complicated than it is. You could use zoo fabric for the "focus" fabric.

Here's one I'm working on...

I made a baby quilt (about 36 x 36, I think) by making one huge Churn Dash block - I figured out how big each piece needed to be to make it the right size, cut them and voila!! baby quilt!! Went together very quickly

I did a zoo quilt a couple of years ago. I did 4" fussy-cut blocks in a trip around the world layout. I did a zoo animal in the center, 3 or 4 rounds of bright fabrics, a round of zoo animals, etc, until I got it as big as I wanted it. I ended with zoo animals in the corners. I called Trip Around the Zoo. It was a big hit and really easy and quick to put together. Let us see what you finally decide to do. :)
