I've been looking for the same type of pattern lately. Here's a good one I found. This is a link to the pattern, but a pattern really isn't necessary. If you will notice, the alternate blocks are made of 4 smaller squares with snowballed corners. That's all there is to it.

I've made several BQ2 quilts and have always gotten compliments on how pretty they are. They aren't hard but you do have to pay attention to how to put the block together.

The yellow one looks washed out but the colors were a lot brighter. The second one had cats in various poses.

Walkabout or MSQC's "Spice Rack" (same pattern, different colors) can be done with large feature squares. I have made similar quilts using 9" fussy cut squares. Also, there's this layer cake friendly quilt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKZOn4F5MTk

I love Walkabout for featuring a fabric.

In another thread, OKsewglad showed some donation quilts she made with the Simplish pattern:

There are videos and print directions on line, simply Google Simplish.

So basic yet it ticks off so many boxes for me. A great way to use fabric with a theme that don't necessarily connect well. You can use it for big fabrics you want to show off in the rectangles. Instead of the little plain squares you can put in some pieced blocks. All different ways to sash, border, add...

I just finished my first top during the virtual quilting weekend, I'm not 100% pleased with it, would have liked either less or more of the cheetah/leopard print but the goal was using up fabric and learning how to work with the design so I did that! I wrote down notes to myself and developed it slightly differently than the published pattern using 4" (finished) squares, 4x8" rectangles, and 2" sashing.

I'm calling it "Here Kitty Kitty" and the leaves and the jungle cat prints came out of fabric I had left from swaps back around Y2K -- the leopard print was clothing scraps that weren't quite the best size for this project (thought it was yardage but it was a long skinny strip) plus I had to buy the jungle print with the pandas in it because I just didn't have anything better.

I have a booklet called Living Large 2 from Anka's Treasures with patterns specifically designed for large scale prints that you want to showcase.

I love the BQ quilts they look like they are difficult to make but they are not. I saw that there is a new one out I think it was called Scattered Stars? It looked awesome but if you don't want to cut your fabrics in small pieces then probably not what you want.

There is a book "Easy Peasy Three yard quilts" for suggestions:
