Ooooo! Sooo many good names here. I would vote for something to do with Puzzles. If puzzle were in the name, it would be easier to identify when you've almost forgotten about it. Would like to see all the "puzzles".

I was going to suggest Brookfield Puzzle, but I see you have already decided!

I like Choose Your Path. It is a wonderful block!

Are you doing presales before it goes to Craftsy? If so, please PM me.

I like the name Chosen Path.

JudeWill 02-07-2014 07:29 AM

My first thought: Meandering

borntoquilt 02-07-2014 07:39 AM

It reminds me of the beautiful AZ sunsets... so DESERT SUNSET

mrs. fitz 02-07-2014 07:44 AM

First thought - Winding Road. Better choice, yours, Quilter's Puzzle.

sap 02-07-2014 07:47 AM

name it "Shakes alive".

pal 02-07-2014 08:24 AM

How about "A Crooked Mile" or "The Road to a Friend's House is Never Long"

Calran 02-07-2014 08:29 AM

"Floating through the Sunset"

SparkyD 02-07-2014 08:38 AM

How about "Waves of Time"?

sewbizgirl 02-07-2014 09:11 AM

Very modern, so how about 'Modernia'?

roserips 02-07-2014 09:18 AM

Since this quilt block can be made so many different ways at first I thought your idea of Quilters Puzzle was great but then realizing you live in Brookfield that sounded good to so why not Brookfield Puzzle.

This quilt instantly made me think of this poem:

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I think The Road, or something of that nature would be nice.

My thought is since there is a 'Quilter's Puzzle' quilt pattern already available in print, why not honor your area and call it 'The Brookfield Traveler'. With that name you may get more sales not only because it is a great looking quilt, but also the quilters locally would have a pattern named after something familiar to them.

I agree completely, NanaCsews2.
Oh, I see you've named it. Good luck with this.

MargeD 02-07-2014 12:47 PM

I rather like Quilter's Path, since you can make many variations from the one block.

madamekelly 02-07-2014 01:17 PM

Well, you said it takes on other designs depending on how you turn it, so my idea for a name is "Take A Right Turn".

FroggyinTexas 02-07-2014 05:19 PM

How about "Arrange as Desired." froggyintexas

Gerbie 02-07-2014 05:54 PM

"Brookfield's Zig or Zag" or "Amazing Twist" Good luck with your sale!!

Gerbie 02-07-2014 05:59 PM

I haven't thought of that poem in years- loved it in High School, and memorized it because I liked it so well. But time has taken it's toil on things I've pushed on the back burner and haven't taken the time to think about. I love poems by Frost. Thanks for the beautiful memory.
