I am going to get on it this morning! I looked at the links and I am going to give it a shot. being able to do it in once continous line will be awesome! thinking about sticking with my walking foot, though. Wouldn't it be easier for me to manage curving if I could 'drive' a little slower?
Thanks so much for the wonderful suggestions! ;) |
One of the tutorials says that the walking foot is hard to maneuver . . . . hmmm. I might just go for it, can't put it off if I plan to follow thru with it! wish me luck!

A large Baptist Fan is the first thing that popped into my head.

It think any quilt with all straight line pattern looks best when the quilting has curves or circles.

okay! I practiced with the fmq foot on my kaleidoscope leftover block. dude. keeping how i push it 'even' so my stitch length is consistent is craziness! ugh. gonna have to practice the starch out of that!!! SO - i put my walking foot back on! The orange peel is pretty easy - I use a pin to mark the 'center' of the triangle, and aim for it, then pause and 're'aim!
