...buy smallish styrofoam balls, cut pieces of fab..not necessarily in squares, triangles, etc., and just push these into styro with screw driver...like crazy quilt balls.......quick, easy, add fancy trims if you have, beads, whatever...

Not toy related but I made pierogis and raviolis with felt, pinking shears and a little hand stitching

One of my guilds does a tree for hospice each year & last year we made a couple of different owls out of felt for ornaments with scarves of all different colors. It was really cute with a tree skirt that went with it.

Love all the ideas here and the links. Here is my idea. Make a very tiny doll quilt..say no bigger than 4-5 inches. Then draw a small doll shape out of muslin, (cut larger than needed so room to stitch around) turn right side out, make a tiny basic dress, draw face on with marker (fine line) and then draw shoes on with thicker marker. Sew little doll to top of quilt. Hope you all can imagine this..I can see it in my mind's eye. With a hanger on one corner, would be a cute ornament. Dang..I might have to go try and make one. :-)

Hpw about small pincushios using little toys fabrics? Then you would have give-aways.

The old Debbie mum books had some darling toy images that would work great for this project.
