How about a day or weekend away to a place where they have wonderful quilt shops. Always to go away and spend quality time together. Then maybe alittle bit of the "green stuff" to take home some little goodies.

Check out some auctions for a vintage kitchen table (all wood), I paid $17.50 for mine at auction. They can easily be converted into a cutting/sandwiching table by adding removable plywood tops, height can be adjusted with bed risers.

After a long day of quilting, shop hopping, or darn near anything...I'd kill for a good old fashioned FOOT RUB!

get a pegboard and some dowel rods that will fit into the holes. Cut the dowel rods about 3 inches long. Paint the pegboard a real pretty color, just for her, glue the 3" dowel rods into the holes and then hang on the all. Put a small piece of wood behind the pegboard so it will stick away from the wall at the bottom. (At a Angle)

Something else paint every 3" dowel rod a different color. She will be able to hang all of her thread on this.
I have thread, rulers, scissors, rotary cutters and even patterns hanging from mine.

I love it, mine is white but I am thinking about taking it down and painting it plus the dowel rods.

How about the 'Big Board' ironing board. Handy if it just fits on top of her regular ironing board or a cabinet/dresser in the sewing area.

You've already got a lot of nice suggestions, so I'll just give you a thumbs up. I'm sure you'll come up with just the right thing for her.

Lighting? A flannel wall or movable panel. You are great!
