I cleaned out a bedroom to make a fabric room and discover 35 UFO's so I'm trying to finish 3 before I start something new, so far so good. I have 30 tops in a rocking chair to be quilted, got two done.

I am right there with you! Seems I get bored with the project when it is about done..... but working to get them in the "finished" category.

Good luck!

I am very afraid to look. Forget the dust bunnies, the UFO's are taking over. I think I need a task master to keep me on task to finish them up.

My best friend and quilting buddy has a T-shirt that reads "QUEEN OF UFO'S". I am sure that I had you all beat. Now that I am organizing my fabric, I have found 24 projects (so far) that I need to complete. WOW.

Since the first of the year I have finished a double wedding ring plus 2 other queen tops. One is at the quilters and the other one I won't have quilted right now. Most of what I am working on right is for grand kids when they need them so it is easier to store tops than whole quilts. I have also made 2 table toppers and 2 baby quilts since the first of the year. It is difficult not to buy fabric and sign up for BOM's but I am determined to finish UFO's this year and not start more projects.

not that many ufo's in the sewing bin but other projects...oh my!

I have about 20 that I submitted to the guild UFO cjhallrnge when I turned in my list. You just take one at a time that you want to start and then cross it off your list.

I feel for all of us. I spent the morning making borders and binding for several quilts in the UFO stage. I am preparing applique for another one.

I keep losing parts of UFOs or finding the parts and then losing the big section. This has got to stop so I am getting them all together and marking them off one by one.

Several years ago, I had too many UFOs, pinned a number on every one, put numbers in an envelope and drew! No agonizing about which piece to sew, the decision was made . If it was a project I didn't like, I was allowed to give it to someone who did like it--let's be sensible about this.
