TAQ (Tomball Area Quilters) meet every Thursday from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Very informal, everyone "does their own thing", whether it's knitting, quilting, redwork, etc. We meet at the Samuel Matthews Park on Huffsmith, a block west of FM 2978.

You might check the Quilters Emporium in Stafford. I know they stock lots of Janome machines and products. They might be able to order them for you if they don't have them. I know it's not exactly close, but it would make a good excuse to check out their quilt store...It was my favorite! |

Welcome from Oklahoma, sister lives in Spring, been to the Woodlands Mall several times. I love it that Woodlands is hidden by the pines, its a nice, neat town.

Welcome from MN. Our son lives in the Woodlands and I have been to the Needle Nest. So sorry to hear that it is closing. Looking forward to being in your area in November for the big Houston Quilt show.
