Thanks for that link... that's a great pattern!!!

I made one with jelly rolls and it was fine.

Do you happen to have a picture of it? If so, I'd love to see it!

I've made that pattern(only the lady I took the class from called it "What a surprise!") Can't find the pattern, but at the time I didn't think that I liked the quilt when I finished it....now I love it. I have it on my bed and I marvel that I actually made it.:D I would think that a jelly roll would work great.

Oooooh... do you have a picture you could show us? I don't think I've ever seen this quilt made up!

First time I've seen this pattern but I like it. I think a jelly roll would work fine as long as you get the color variations. Good luck with your quilt jannm; and thank you coyotequilts for the link.

I taught a class where a gal used different fabrics in her hidden wells quilt. It came out beautifully, but the design that you usually see was different. If you haved found fabrics you love, go for it. I had some problems understanding the reddawn.net sight, so after I made my first quilt, I wrote a tutorial on my blog. You might want to take a peek at it and see if it is of any help to you! :) Just a warning it's long with lots of photos.
