When I'm cutting a pattern that has lots of cuts, I copy the fabric cutting guide (instructions) and use the copy as a guide. Every time I make a cut, I check off that line. It's sure helped this poor old mind remember what the heck I've done....especially if I get interrupted!!!! on edit: from reading below it reminded me. I always write which fabric for each cut. If I have 3 colors of fabric, I decide which ones get which cuts. Especially if you're changing out the colors...it's just too easy to get mixed up. Happy quilting! dee Works for me! And, janquiltz, especially for the Pam Bono's! |
Learned this the hard way!
