I have this table and love it. Went together very nicely. Really like that it folds down so you can move it out of the way.

Janie, I purchased a folding table from WalMart, that is made of white heavy duty plastic (I think), anyway it is like a table you would see at a community center or somewhere. The top is not slick, but not too rough for pinning or cutting, just textured. It is quite sturdy and I have had no trouble with it wobbling or anything. It is already put together in the box when you get it. When I bought mine there were two different sizes. I chose the largest one- I just measured it, and here are the demensions - 28" high, 72" long and 29" wide. I am thinking, I paid $50 or so for it. But it has definitely paid for itself. I do all of my cutting on it now, sure beats the floor for putting my mats down and cutting there. When I finish I can just fold it up and put it away, about 4-5" wide or thick I guess you would say when folded up, and 36" long or tall and of course 29 wide. It stores well. You might want to check it out.

I use an old desk top (like a small dining table). But now it's piled with boxes, with a cutting board on top of that. That worked well, until more stuff got piled on top of that (any flat surface is destined to be covered with junk).

I won't allow the newer junk furniture into my house. It's particleboard with a plastic veneer, and it reeks of formaldehyde and whatever else that outgases from it. It triggers my asthma.

I also have one of the plastic tables 6' long. I use it for sewing, and it doubles as an extension to my dining table. I have one of the smaller folding craft tables. It is stable enough for cutting, but not for sewing, because the table jumps all over the floor when the sewing machine is running.

I love my table and they let you use you 50% of coupon on it. Just need to keep the nuts tight. Love the way it folds up out of the way.

I have had my table for over ten years. Yes it is a little wobbly, would never put a machine on it, but I love it for basting sandwiches together. The fact that it folds into a really small space when not in use is also a big plus. Maybe the question is what are you going to use it for, is the height important?

yes I have that table I like it. I use it all the time and it folds up that is the best part. works great.

I have one and use it constantly. Very convenient and I love the fact that it folds and moves around. It can be a little shaky, but you do need to check periodically to make sure the gate style legs are pushed all the way into the brackets, which helps immensely. I do NOT like the cutting mat which came with my table. It seems to dull my cutter blades and I notice I have many more missed thread cuts with it. Nothing is more aggravating than cutting a bunch of strips to find that you have connected pieces because of uncut sections of thread!!! Do you sense a trigger issue for me???? I would love to have one of the cutting assemblies I found on this list with bookcases as supports and finished doors as the table top, but my room space works way better with a moving unit.

I have this table also and my husband did a couple of alterations on it to cause it to be more stable and we replaced the casters also and got them from Harbor Freight. That is the same price I paid for mine 3 years ago, so for today, that price is really a good one.

I also have this table bought it about 3 years ago and love it, just the right hight for cutting. It slides a bit on hardwood floor but on carpet is steady.
