It looks great! I'd leave it! :)

I'd leave it, there's variations in batiks anyway so it doesn't stick out much.
I'd leave it as is for this quilt and learn from my mistake. When piecing borders or binding strips, if you piece them using a diagonal seam (miter) you will not have this problem and your seam will be almost invisible. Its just as easy to do and the difference will amaze you.
I would leave it. Looks fine and baby will love it.
Looks fine as is!! Especially since all 4 border sides are different.

It looks great. I piece my borders all the time and once they are quilted it's not even noticeable.
I think it looks fine - BUT, if it bothers you now, it will always bother you. A simple solution would be to take an animal head and applique it on the seam. Maybe a couple critters and have them cross over into the sashing area.

It's great, children like bright colours x

All the sashing and borders tie in well together and the animals are cute, I'm sure the baby will love it!
Don't worry about it..........................The baby will love the bright colors and your loving thoughts.
Another thing to try is fabric paints. Use a green that goes with that and put random lines, squiggles, loops or whatever here and there. Cross over that seam line a few times and it will probably be less noticeable.
Also, be sure to press the seam open there. That will eliminate the "bump" where the seam is. |
I think it is fine. Quilting will make a huge difference. The messages in the squares are so sweet and perfect!
It's certainly NOT awful! It's an adorable quilt with pictures the baby will love as he grows up. I'd leave it alone, too.
I can't tell the greens don't match. It's fine as is...don't over think it...it's fine!
I think it looks fine

Great quilt. Don't sweat the small stuff. Life is tooooooo short. Looks awesome. Your hubby is a keeper!!!
I think it looks great and the green fits in well.
I love it and I know some child will also love it. Bright and cheerful. That's what children like.
It looks good to me also, baby will love it...You did a great job.....
Such a sweet quilt! I agree with most - leave it as it is.
I would leave it. I glanced at your pic before I read your post and honestly I didn't even notice the seam or the slight color variations. Once it is quilted, its going to blend in fine and no one will give it a second look. Beautiful quilt top by the way, the baby is going to love it!
I would leave it as is. Looks great to me. The quilt is just adorable!
I think it is adorable!! From the photo, it looks like parts of the green border match the green with the lion on it. :)
i don't notice the seam and I doubt anyone else will. enjoy your own work.
Leave it the way it is. It all blends so well. It's cute, bright, and a great gift.
Nice quilt i,d leave it alone also
I really don't mind it. It does look very nice. My vote is to leave it as it is. The baby will love it!
I didn't notice it. But I bet if you covered the seam with a square of leftover, like a patch, and put one on the red side, too, no one else would notice, either.
Are you going to see the quilt often once it's gifted? If not, don't worry about it! If you want to, you can even mention something in the quilting or in the card about how love made the quilt and how sometimes pieces of love stitched together are the binds that hold everything together....
