check the web for 'castors'

I did check my local Lowes and Homers. No luck. But I did NOT check the websites. That's a good point.

Yeah, that Horn sucker cost a POODLE of money. I do love it... but I do think Horn and the Koala's are way overpriced. Buy them used if you can.... this Horn of mine is built like a tank. It will last me the rest of my life... and then some.

Oh there are tons of places on the web for castors... but dealing with a 'castorsforcheap' web store is a little iffy. A lot of those type web stores... are not as secure when it comes to buying someting with your Visa, etc. Plus, they tend to sell your information to anyone who asks. Unless I know someone who has bought from a particular webstore, I'm kinda leary about randomly picking a webstore and giving them my visa number.

I have an account with Rockler's... they do have castors, but not the size I need.

OH! and to the person who said, "put different castors on the chair"! Love that reply! Thanks! Funny. I thought about that, also took a look to see if I could devise my own 'brake' system for them. nope.

Plus the castors on the HORN are the hard plastic ones, supposedly for all surfaces. I do need to move the cabinet back and forth every now and then, and anytime a piece of dirt gets under a wheel, it's going to drag across the floor in the hard plastic castor and scratch it. Ask me how I know this.... <sigh>
