I made ones for my Barbies when I was a kid-lots of them. Don't have a one! Years later, I did a queen size log cabin. Pink & blue. Still in great shape after all this time~~~

King size prairie star, picture attached. I liked the pattern and no one told me it might be hard for a beginner. That was 6 years ago.

Mine was bed sized and of my own horrific design. Took me 20 years to finish! My first few were bed sized. I realized that I get more satisfaction doing smaller ones in between the big ones. Less "quilter's burnout" for me that way.

I started my 1st quilt in late Sept 2010 and finished it sometime in late October. It was a 56 by 56 baby crib quilt. It was far from perfect but I thought it looked pretty good at the time. Now I realize the true meaning of the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." LOL

Queen sized trip around the world tied quilt, maybe 14 years ago. It was really pretty awful. Its currently wrapped around an old piece of furniture in my garage.

my first 'big-quilt' grew and grew  by the time i figured out how to finish it it was 13 foot x 14 foot---dragonfly quilt in 2004. before that i had only made baby quilts-drag around throw's....

Cal King with 8" cuts and RF handquilted with simple x across each square. Took me 6 months.

In the early 80s I took a beginning quilting class and made a baby sampler quilt. My first larger quilt was a twin size pineapple pattern - what was I thinking - not?
