My first quilt was a twin size Sunbonnet Sue quilt in yellow and orange. It was the 70's and that was the color my 2 year old wanted.

My first quilt was a very large full. I did not know how to quilt and I took large scraps and sewed them together. Every time I added an odd shaped scrap I had to lay the top on the floor, pin it in place and then sew it. For the back I used a sheet that I rolled the edges to the front. I tied it. I made it for DH for the first Christmas that I knew him before we were married. Sadly enough because of the poor construction it got holes in it over the years and not knowing how to fix it I threw it away. I have no picture of it either.
