I think it would be cruel to separate them at this point. And they do look sooo cute together!

I'm also surprised at how much the prices have increased for this machine, especially on eBay, where I have seen them actually sold (by checking the completed auctions) for around $1,000. I imagine it's because they were only produced in 2012, for Singer's anniversary, and supposedly there were a limited number of them made. The money factor is tempting (because I paid under $400 for the machine when I bought it), but I'm not going to let her go! I noticed on Amazon for a while that they priced at $2000.00 for the new ones ......and the last time I looked they were at $599.00. I bought mine and paid $199.00........omg, what a buy........and she's so pretty at that. Makes it even a better buy. Thanks for the input......I will begin to enjoy mine also...... |
Keep them both. You can never have too many machines!

i have the blk. an i wished i had the wht. brcause it'e easier to see an also the needle down i will buy it if i see it looked on hsn an they don't have it now that would make me 4 small an long arm

One always needs a backup machine, I have 2(back up machines 301 and 401. but I did winnow that down from 5) :) Plus my Brother machine and serger. I vote for keeping both

Frankly, I think splitting them up would be cruel. They look like twins. Fraternal, of course, not identical! ;)

If you are looking for enablers you have come to the right place. lol Selling the 160 would be like selling one of your children. Keep them both.

you can always use a spare... you may end up showing someone how to sew and need one to share.
