That's cute men seem to think prices don't change. I told my hubby how much it would cost me to make the king DWR and he said it would be cheaper to buy in the store. He did tell me to go to the quilting store and buy the good fabric so it would last for us. Good Luck to you and your Mom . Sue

I quite agree. Recently, a distant cousin asked me how much I would charge her to make an oversized queen quilt? I didn't really care if I made it or not, so I told her one that size would be $400.00.... she jumped on the chance to have one of my handcrafted quilts! LOL I designed the pattern, using her color choices and she was thrilled with the finished product.
So if you don't really want to do it, give a higher price, you might just make a little money in the bargain... good luck!

Beautiful quilt! She will treasure your treasure! Hopefully you were thrilled to have made this for her even tho you did not want to do it.

My DH tipped me off that someone he works with would like me to make a quilt for her grandson. I seriously doubt that I will. (I have a feeling she would pay the price...and happily! LOL!) I hope the request does not come. no time!
