Same here. I quilt for my pleasure. Will never be a ribbon winner.

Happy with myself but room for lots of improvement.

On piecing - advanced beginner; on quilting - I don't, I send it out to my local longarm quilter. I tried once - it looked like a four-year-old had been playing in my sewing supplies. LOL

intermediate with flashes of both beginner and advanced popping up.

Definitely a beginner.

Even though I have been quilting for over 20 years I consider myself intermediate. :-)

I rate myself - need for improvement - some quilts come out wonderful and some not so wonderful and I have been quilting for approx 5 years... but I am improving slowly but will I every be great ... I don't think so... Not to myself - I agree people love them and the smile on their faces is enough for me...

No rating ... just happy.

Pretty darn good, BUT every time I go to an AQS quilt show I know that I won't live long enough to get THAT good!!
