I have been quilting for over 6 years and have make 100s of quilts, literally, I hold a Patchwork class to teach newbies but still go to my Quilting Classes in the winter.
I do ordinary pieced work, PP and applique, the fused kind not the turn edged type  I prefer to FMQ my quilts and am quite happy with binding, double and biased and I have sold a handful of quilts. I classify myself as a Newbie going to to lower Intermediate, but looking at some of the work on this forum I feel like a new born quilter :!: I think this is the reason I love quilting as you can never be bored or sit on your laurels, there is always a challenge to take one in every quilt you make. How do you rate yourself, honestly. |
According to what you have rated yourself, then I suck. :-)

Just average maybe.

Hopefully one day I'll be able to make a block that measures up to the proper finished sized and square. |

I'm a begginer at peicing quilts and i'm not afraid to admit it. I have lots of room for improvement. However I am finding that if I never get my points competition perfect i'm not going to care. I'm learning this for me and my state of mind.

Rank beginner here... Love PPing, quilt magazines and books, and staying up til the wee hours playing with my new Juki..

I try not to rate myself as one quilt will turn out great and then the next one not so.....People love them, so that's my gauge. I have learned that careful piecing and squaring up all the blocks really helps in the end.

advanced beginner also.
