What a good idea, I have a serger, A Singer Ultralock 14 U64A, cheap to a good home, make me an offer! Sheila

Sheila, did you find that serger a bear to thread? I didn't even know mine was color coded and when I found it didn't help much because it's colors that I don't see very well. I ended up getting a Babylock with air threading.

Ugly Cook, I hated serging Full Stop
|
I hate sewing most things so much that serging works for me because it is FAST!

I'm also waiting on a FW a friend of mine got me one from Estate sale for 150. I keep waiting for him to mail it to me. I had looked here on CL and had found one over mother day weekend for 200 then the guy back out of the sale.
I have been wanting one of these little babies for 10 years. As I have gotten 10 years old and more pain Its getting harder to load up my car with heavy machines for a work shop or sew in. |

Texas Granny. Look on ebay under singer Featherweigh Sewing Machines., my last one arrived today and I am just going to open it. Gotta go!!!!!!!!!
|
BTW: ther is a sewing machine blue book. Just finding someone who has a current version is the trick.
My issue is that if you sell locally, then it's a matter of pickup and done. Over ebay or even on the QB, you have to worry about shipping. I did not keep the original box. |
Texas Grannie, I have opened it and it sews like a dream, all it needs is oiling. The stitch is perfect!
|
I'm so glad you got what you wantedm Happy sewing
