I'd like to sell my machine locally and I'm scared of Craigslist now (2 sellers assaulted/murdered recently in our area). Any ideas?
Also, how do you figure out how much a used machine is worth? I'm going to go to a local dealer and see what he'd offer, but I'm curious if anyone knows any other options. |
You could use craigs list as a way to see what other are getting for there machine. But then just put a add in the local paper.

What kind of machine are you wanting to sell. I have been watching CL in my area for the past couple months

I recently sold something on craigslist but did not meet the buyer at the house. You can meet them at the mall or other convenient public place.

see if you can sell it here on the board

post a picture and try to sell it here on the board

I too am interested in which machine you are selling.

I have purchased 2 machines on Ebay and have been very happy. Craigs list is OK. I have sold a few things but always delivered the item or sent it by UPS. I calculate that in the starting price. However, I agree, put it up for us Quilters first.....
