If you see a post that you want to send someone, where do you find the blog number for that post ? Anyone know
|
Don't know anything about blog #, but if I want to send anybody a post on here I just copy and paste the HTML at the top of the page.... it is the link and it starts with www.
here is the one for this page the one that I am typing from. http://www.quiltingboard.com/compose...topicnum=98028 here is the one for the page with your post. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-98028-1.htm#2476734 |
That's the way I'd do it as well - the address (URL) at the top of your internet browser is all that is needed to find the thread, then if there's a specific page number you want them to go to or see you just tell them the page number and they can input that into the jump to page box we have.

It took me the longest time to figure it out lol :D

The url is at the top of your screen and starts with http://
This is the "address" of the page you want to send. So if you want to send a page from here or from anywhere else, you right click your mouse with your cursor on the url. It will turn a color when you do that, (highlighted) and then click on copy. Then go to where you want to place this for someone else to see. Like a reply, PM, email, etc... When you get there, right click in the spot where you would normally type, and then click paste. the whole url will appear. Be sure you leave a space between the url and any other typing. :D:D:D |
Duh !. I knew that, thanks everyone

Notice the '#' in the upper right corner of each and every post?
Click it. |
