Don't know anything about blog #, but if I want to send anybody a post on here I just copy and paste the HTML at the top of the page.... it is the link and it starts with www.

here is the one for this page the one that I am typing from.

That's the way I'd do it as well - the address (URL) at the top of your internet browser is all that is needed to find the thread, then if there's a specific page number you want them to go to or see you just tell them the page number and they can input that into the jump to page box we have.

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

The url is at the top of your screen and starts with http://
This is the "address" of the page you want to send.

So if you want to send a page from here or from anywhere else, you right click your mouse with your cursor on the url. It will turn a color when you do that, (highlighted) and then click on copy.

Then go to where you want to place this for someone else to see. Like a reply, PM, email, etc...

When you get there, right click in the spot where you would normally type, and then click paste.

    the whole url will appear.

Be sure you leave a space between the url and any other typing. :D:D:D

    You don't have a post#?
From just a randomly picked thread, click and see where it takes you within that particular thread.

    Thread - Page 1

    Thread - Page 3

Thread - Page 4, Post xx half way done the page.

Boy, I am surely missing something because it is still easier for me to copy and paste . Maybe I am to old to learn something new. But, whatever works for each of us is the thing to do.

If it's a 6 page thread and you want to direct someone to a specific post, that's the direct url.

Maybe we're using the terminology for different things.

A post to me (and every other board I've ever been on for the past 2 decades) is the individual response, not the whole thread or topic (as it's referred to on this board), which is what I thought the OP was asking about.

    Whatever. Never mind.

No problem, I don't have a problem with doing it the way I have been for about 25 yrs.. I am usually interested in one comment, not the whole thread.

And how do you direct someone to that "one" comment in a 6 page thread?

Tell them what page it is on. Just like the Creative Seamtress stated earlier in the post. I sure don't want them to read 6 pages when I only wanted to show them a picture or the likes on one page.

I am done arguing with you about i, You do it your way and I'll do it mine. It is that simple.
