Probably a dumb question, but my machine has the front loading bobbin, not a top drop in one (does this make sense?) Will a flush table work for this type of machine? Anita

My machine has a front loading bobbin and sits flush in a cabinet. There is a plexiglass "surround" that covers up the hole around the machine. I lift that up when I need to get to the bobbin area. This website has some good photos that show how the machine sits on a shelf, and also shows the plexiglass surround that covers the hold. Click on each picture to get a good closeup view:

If you have a top loading bobbin, the hole can be an exact match to your machine. With a front-loading bobbin you need a bigger hole and the plastic surround.

I'm going to try a couple of these ideas. Thanks to everyone for sharing

Not sure if this is a good title or not but... my husband would like to build me a sewing cabinet for Christmas/birthday. Can anyone tell me if there is a place you can order the case(?) that would attach to the bottom of the surface that would hold the machine making it level with the top of the cabinet? I've searched online but don't even know what to call it. Thought one of you might. Thanks!

Elenore Burns has instructions on her website on how to make a sewing table from an farm table. I would it could be used from what you describe
