Oh geez, I apparently have pin cushion issues. I have one by my sewing machine, one by the serger, one on the ironing table, one on the cutting table, one next to my chair in the family room, and one on my nightstand. HMMMM....maybe I should talk to someone about this:)

Just one!!

I am thinking 5 might be enough. When I am pinning the sandwich I like to use a container. Does that make the count 6?

I have a hand-made pine needle basket that my Grandmother made many years ago. My cousin had it and sent it to me.
It had foam inside and an ugly brown velour for the pin cushion top. On my to-do list, is to revamp it, weight the bottom with sand, restuff, and put a new cover on it. When I finally get around to doing this, I'll post pictures. So for now, I'm using my little tomato pin cushion I've had for many years. |

I only use pincusions (and one of them at that) for my hand-sewing needles.
All my pins are in various tins and boxes. |
Lol! My pincushion is sad. It's stuffed! I think it's the one that came in the sewing kit I bought for Home Ec. in junior high! (Off Topic--In this home ec. class I sewed a drawstring bag for my final project--the top was sewn closed at the end and the teacher never noticed! Said I should be a seamstress!)

I only have the finger one given to me which I do use often when handsewing.
